2026 reissue of their killer 2002 album, featuring brand new artwork by Tom Neely, on space pink vinyl, including poster insert.

Originally released in 2002 on Stardumb Records, Go! Stories is the 7th studio album from California pop punk legends Groovie Ghoulies. Following a string of successful LPs on Lookout Records in the 1990s, the Sacramento trio went back to basics on Go! Stories and came out with one of the most upbeat, hook-heavy records of their career.

The Ghoulies were famous for their obsession with B-movie monsters and other creepy crawly characters, but Go! Stories largely puts the creature features aside for something more personal. It’s mostly monster-free and full of good feelings, a fired-up “keep going” record from a band that had been through label changes, lineup shuffles and many years of relentless touring. “Mess Me Up,” “School Is In,” and the anthem “‘Til Death Do Us Party” deliver Kepi’s trademark mix of Ramones buzz, ’60s bubblegum melody and pure joy. It’s two-minute pop punk at its finest.

Go! Stories has been out of print for more than 20 years. Stardumb Records, Green Door Recording Co, and Eccentric Pop Records have teamed up to bring it back on color vinyl as a one-time pressing limited to 1,000 copies (800 copies on space pink vinyl, as well as 200 blue copies available exclusively through 1-2-3-4 Go! Records). Featuring brand new artwork by Tom Neely. A CD edition is also available.

Don’t sleep on this one. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
